Tonight I made a couple of Thanksgiving cards. I've been working on a basket for our work's silent auction we have coming up. These two cards will be going on the fall half of the basket. I found a two tear shelf that I am using. The top tear is the fall half, the bottom half is the winter half. I already have my winter cards, just needed a few more fall cards. Since the auction starts the beginning of next month, it will be too late for Halloween cards, just in plenty of time for Thanksgiving and Christmas cards.
For my first card I used two stitched circle dies. I used an embossing folder and I embossed the 'give thanks' w/white embossing powder. The sign was made using my Cricut (including the sentient on the sign). My final touch was the bow.
For my second card, I used the same sign, just made it thinner and changed the sentiment. I used a chicken wire die and some twine. Overall, I kept this one a bit more simple than my first card.
