Yellow Snow

 This card was made for my roommate, she wanted something funny for her dad.  

I used an image from Dr. Digi called Snow Fun.  I added a die cut flower, a die cut fence and some ribbon.  I also used a snowflake embossing folder.  I used dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops for the snow and fence.

Hugs and more Hugs

 These cards were made for this fortnight's 'People (and choose 1 other option)'challenge over at Incy Wincy Designs.  We have two sponsors for this challenge, Oddball Art Co and Colour Of Love.  The two other parts to this challenge are:

For this first card I used an image from Oddball Art called Jenny Has The Cure.  I chose to use the blue part of the challenge.  I used a few different designed papers that matched the blue, added a die cut flower, added pearls and a tag with the sentiment.  This card was added in a goodie basket I gave to a wonderful woman who was going in for surgery.

For this second card I used an image from Colour Of Love Called Future King.  I followed the sketch for this one, I also used the blue...  I added a die cut sentiment, gems and a ribbon.

Merry Christmas Deer

 This is a fun little image from The Paper Shelter called Holy Night.

My roommate asked me to make a couple of cards for her nieces.  One has the favorite color of red.  This is the card I made for her.  I used the full layout that came with the set with the paper and pre-colored image.  I used some fun flower dies, a die that I won from Word Art Wednesday that just showed up in the mail this week.  I used 3 brads to keep the flowers together and 3 red gems one the corner die.  I considered filling in the leaves, but didn't want it that bold..  I added a bow and called it awesome!  haha  The layout is from a sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges (sketch C4C527).

A Pink Christmas

 This is a fun little image from The Paper Shelter called Warm In The Winter.

My roommate asked me to make a couple of cards for her neices.  One has the favorite color of pink.  This is the card I made for her.  I used the full layout that came with the set with the paper and pre-colored.  I used a sentiment from Create With TLC.  I added some Duvo Crystal Drops for the "snow".  I used a fence die, tree die and snowflake die.  I added a bit of lace, a ribbon and a flower with a brad.  I used a pearl on the snowflake.

Holiday Chaos Day 4 Bingo

For the bingo board I went with Sparkle, Bugaboo image, and brads.  I didn't use the new release for this creation, instead I used Santa Claus.  I used a buckle punch on the glitter paper, added a strip of black paper and added 3 brads.

Holiday Chaos Day 3 ABC

This week Catch The Bug is having their annual Holiday Chaos challenges, a challenge every day.  This is Day 3 with the challenge of "Anything But A Card".

For this one I made a luminary.  I used a die cut sentiment, the deer were cut using the snowflake christmas reindeer on my Cricut, and I used Old World Santa 1.  I pulled out some snowflake dies and used them on some glitter paper, added a bow and put it all together.  this is actually a relatively simple project, believe it or not!  I will list instructions after the photo.  I used a battery operated candle purchased at the dollar tree.

How to make the luminary:

1.  cut two pieces of 8.5" x 4.25"

2.  score both pieces at .5", 1", 7.5", 8"

3. cut the center either using a die or your paper cutter, just make sure it's centered between the inside score lines.  If you want to use a frame, have fun with it.

4.  either use glue or double sided tape to put the two pieces of together.  This should be able to fold so that it can fit into a size A2 envelope.

Holiday Chaos Day 2 Sketch

This week Catch The Bug is having their annual Holiday Chaos challenges, a challenge every day.  This is Day 2 with the challenge of "Sketch".

For this sketch challenge I stuck with red and white, Used a couple embossing folders on the white papers, used a sentiment from Create With TLC and used the most wonderful silhouette image from Bugaboo called Snowflake Reindeer Silhouette.  I also added some glitter brads and a red bow.  I put a red gem onto the deer's nose, because, who doesn't love Rudolph?
