I Love This

I found some really fun dies on clearance for an extremely low price this week over at Hobby Lobby!! Sooooo...I had to play! I used this adorable Lily Of The Valley image, cut it out using a square die so it would fit with the butterflies on the outside of the "I <3 This" die. Then I used the arrow die. I followed the sketch from over at Sketchy Colors (this is a new site to me...) I added some lace behind the three rectangles. I used an embossing folder for one of the layers of blue. I added some Stickles inside the letters.

Quite The Buzz

For those of you who know me you know I am also known as the busybusyhoneybee! For this reason I love bee iamges! This is two of Rick St. Dennis' bee images Standing Busy Bee Kid and Seated Busy Bee Kid. The sentiment is from a Create With TLC Set called Birthday Variety, Younger Age. I stuck with just the two colors, black and yellow and kept it simple. I just added one DP, some gems and a bow. I did rough up the edges of the black and the DP papers. I also decorated the inside...something I rarely do.

Dragonfly Thanks

It has been a long time since I've used an actual RUBBER stamp! The stamp I used came in a set with the punch - all from Stampin Up! I saw this really cool video today on how to cut these more detailed dies without having to spend forever poking the leftover papers out of the die or image...You HAVE to see this!! I pretty much copied her card but used a dragonfly and not a butterfly die. I used Stickles instead of glitter and I added ribbon to the card. So here is the fun video:
