Hippie Birthday

I've wanted to play with this Create With TLC sentiment for a long time, but never had the perfect image to go with it.  Then I saw this fun Peace Cat from QKR Stamps.  I kept the card fairly simple since the paper is so busy.  I just added some rickrack, ribbon and gems.

Rustic Wedding card

This card was made using an image from Cute As A Button and a sentiment from Create With TLC.  I used two different DPs, lace, two different ribbons, a doily, pearls, gems, twine and a flower.  The image was colored using chalk, ink and glitter gel pen.  I added Glossy Accents on their eyes and Stickles on her dress.

I found this fun image over at the Kenny K shop this morning.  They have a 40% off sale going on (the code is on their Facebook Page).  This one is called Texting Friends.

I colored the image using ink and chalk.  I colored their phone 'cases' and their finger nails with glitter gel pen.  I added some lace, pearls, twine, ribbon, flowers, two brown doilies, some butterfly dies and some leaf dies.  I fussy cut the image using my Silhouette Cameo machine.

It's Your Day, Relax!

For today's anything goes challenge for the Cute As A Button Challenge I got to play with "Spa Day".  I took her purse and made an edging from it, used my edge punch and punched an edge for the other side.  I added string pearls, roses, gems and a bow.

Fan Fold Technique

I decided to try out this fan fold technique.  I'm really loving the effect.

With this first card I added some lace and gems on top then used some fun flowers from Close To My Heart and butterfly stickers.  I used a metal thanks that hooks on by a brad.

For this second card, I used my new teapot die and made the fan fold shorter.  I added the metal smile that is held on by a brad, some flowers and a butterfly from Close To My Heart and went across the middle between the die and the fold using some rickrack.
