God Made Us Friends

Ohh, I simply HAD HAD HAD to make somthing so I could use my new stick pins. :) I got the tops and bottoms from Ebay - TEA POTS!! I love these!! I have a co-worker who is a tea aficionado, she has been asking me to make more cards with tea stuff on it. LOL So, here is my first using my fun stick pins! Yay! I used the adorable pre-colored image called "Theres a Fairy In My Tea" from The Paper Shelter.  I created the sentiment and will share it with you.  I used some pearls, flower ribbon, lace, ribbon, several different types of flowers and some glittery leaves.  The extra butterflies were actually from the image itself - enlarged.  Super fun!!

Create a Bookmark or a Tag with Incy Wincy Designs

This week over at Incy Wincy Designs the challenge theme is "Create A Bookmark Or A Tag".  We have two fun sponsors joining us - the Awesome Delicious Doodles and Digital Delights.  I was honored to get to play with the beautiful "Blossom" from Delicious Doodles.  I created the tag using the image.  Do you know how many butterflies I have on this card?  SIX!  Yes, six!  I cut out three of them to place on top of the other three to give it more POP!  To make the two bigger butterflies I simply cropped out the butterfly from the image and pasted it.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I added gem strips and roses.  I just love how this turned out!!

Go Out in Joy...Be Lead in Peace

This week's challenge over at Whoopsi Daisy is to "Use A Hand Colored Image".  Since I love using the precolored images so much, it makes me wonder if I'm the reason for this one!  LOL  This adorable little girl is from Sheet 536.  I created and am sharing this sentiment with you.  DP's are from Scrapbooks Gone Digital.  Image colored using Prismacolor pencils.

Summer Birthday

This fun elephant is called CARMEN BurlesquEphant digi stamp by Rick St. Dennis.  I added a bunch of scrap papers I have laying around (not sure where they were from),.  I added a stick pin I made into a couple pieces of tulle and some gems.  I colored the elephant using Prismacolor pencils and gel pens.  For the gel pens I traced the black lines then used a blending stick to spread the color (this is easily done since the gel pen stays wet for so long).
