The Perfect Man

 I think I have the perfect person in mind for this one.  I love this sentiment!!  It is from the retired company called Skipping Stones Designs.  The Gingerbread man is a cut file from CTMH and the papers are from CTMH.  I added two gems and a bow.  I used red Stickles for the buttons and bow on the Gingerbread man.  I used a CTMH shimmer pen around the sentiment and on the white dots of the polkadot paper.  I used a Stamp'in Up embossing folder on the cardstock layer.

 This card was made for the current Christmas in Non-traditional Colors over at Creatalicious Challenges!   I used a fun image from Dr. Digi called Selfie Santa.  I went with purple and blue as the color scheme.  Now, if I were that snowman and saw santa in those blue pants, I think the first thing I'd want is a selfie to prove it!  LOL

CHERISH CTMH WORKSHOPS

 I purchased a "workshop" paper pack from CTMH, I purchased the scrapbooking one called Cherish just because there was more of what I wanted in it...Knowing I'd be doing cards, not scrapbooking.  I made three cards using the live that Dawn from Stamp'in Up did click HERE for her step-by-step video instructions.  Again, I used CTMH products to make these using her video as my inspirations.  The sentiments I used are from three different companies (CTMH, Create With TLC and Skipping Stones Designs) .  LOL  Hey!  I like to mix it up!  ;)  I've obviously taken some liberties veering from her video and/or measurements, but that is the fun of crafting, we can do that!  Right?

I really enjoy watching her lives that she does on YouTube.  If I recall, in this video she says she won't be doing them over the next couple of weeks.  I just wait for the email that says she will be going live. LOL  I can't keep track.  Sadly, it goes on when I'm at work, but luckily I can watch them half heartedly while working knowing I may have to get up and go help someone fill out a form or something.

Well, I hope her inspiring me has helped to inspire you to go outside your comfort zone and make something wonderful!

Fairy Princess Christmas

 For this card I used Helga Hippo Fairy Princess from Polka Doodles.  I colored her in the traditional Christmas colors and added some shimmer using a shimmer pen from CTMH.  I cut out a bunch of snowflakes and layered them then added a red gem to the center.  I used two different washi tapes (the sentiment and the strip above it.  I added some glitter paper behind the main layer.

Instant HUMAN

 Lately I've been pulling out my old, and some of my new RUBBER (Poly) stamps.  Since I'm not one who enjoys coloring, it can be a challenge.  So, I've been water coloring or chalking.  Not quite the same as digitally coloring where I can add more shading...  This card was made using a set from Skipping Stones Designs (I miss this company, I used to be on their DT).  I printed my own sentiment after spraying the paper using some Distress Oxide Spray and a couple Shimmer sprays.  I then stamped the 'cup mark' on two corners and added the image I water colored and fussy cut out.  I kept this super CAS, the only embellishments I added were the three large pearls on top.

This was fun to do, it made use some things I haven't played with in a while (like the sprays and the water color pen).

Cat and Cacti Birthday

 This card was inspired by the new Seize the Birthday challenge "CASE a DT member".  So, I looked at the last few challenges and saw a card made by DT Cathy that inspired me to play along.  Granted, I do not have the same dies and embossing folder she used, but, I followed as much as I could.  Here is her card:

So, I didn't have the small plants, I do have a new die set I recently received from Honey Bee Stamps called Succulent Garden Builder.  The window die I used is a Sizzix die and the happy birthday die is different as well.  The brick wall die I used is a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  The cat die I used, I'm not sure what set it came from either.  LOL  Here is my creation:

Let It Snow Man

 I've made a couple of cards using this image.  I love love love this Jan's Digi set!!  The set is called My Snowmies.  I used the single image and one of the images that comes with the set.  I played with my scrap papers to make this card by using a punch from Creative Memories, glueing the shapes on, then using an embossing folder over the whole layer.  I added some white sequins, used a shimmer pen on the snow parts of the snowman and on the hat.  I love how this turned out!!

Hi Owl

 I received my first order of clear rubber stamps from JessicaLynnOriginals.com yesterday and had to play!!  First I played with this adorable Brentwood Owl it came with another one (sold out).  I kept this CAS, just added a couple DPs and  a couple ribbons.

The other card I made using the other set I ordered called Purr-n-Fur Fuzzy Buddies.  It's on clearance for only $10.  

I love the sentiments in this!  The "If I fits I sits" is one my friend says about his cat all of the time where boxes are concerned.  LOL  Of course I had to use that sentiment.  My kitty isn't this chubby, but it's the image that went tot he sentiment, and I made it white with pink jellybeans like my kitty.  I colored the doily green, used two pieces of scrap papers I had laying around and left the rest of the card clean.

Teal and Silver Birds

 This card is a CASEd card.  Not exact matches, but the layout and colors are, the one I CASEd had a pumpkin on it.  This was made, for the most part, entirely using dies.  I used a bird cage die, bird strip die, flourish die, word die and flower die.  The shape behind the word die was actually done using a punch.  I used an embossing folder for the white/vanilla layer.  I added a white/silver bow and a few gems.

A Cup Of Good Cheer

 Now, I have to say, I love a little coffee with my cream!  LOL  The only time you will see me drinking black coffee is when I've done many no sleep nights!  

The BIG coffee blog hop is currently going on right now., this images is a freebie from Stamplorations.  You really should go check out the hop and grab this freebie on your way!!  It's AWESOME!  I chose to paper piece the cup, just to add a touch of color.  Then I went nuts and decorated the cup by adding butterfly stickers and a CTMH sentiment from the Cup of Cheer Everyday Life set.  I can't seem to stop and CAS, it's a disease or something... LOL  Here is the card:

See what I mean?  Had I just left it CAS it could have been a great guy card even!!  But noooo....haha  Oops!  LOL

About Strength

 This card was inspired by the current sketch over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

For this card I chose to play with some scraps form other fall cards I'd made.  The background paper is from Stamp'in Up, the lower paper is from CTMH as are the stamps used (stamp/sentiment).  The stamp set is called You Can Do Anything.  It was a stamp of the month a few months ago.  This sketch is a perfect way to use up your scraps!!

OWL COFFEE GIFT CARD HOLDER

This card was inspired by the fun owl stamp that JessicaLynn is giving away right now in her shop!  This is a pop-up/sliding gift card holder.  To learn to make this card watch THIS VIDEO.  I love how this one turned out!!  I added the designer paper to the inside as well as the outside, so I added a couple steps more than the video shows.  the sentiments come from a fun stamp set called Funny Coffee Vol. 1 by Skipping Stones Designs (the company is no longer out there - I used to be on their DT forever ago).    The DP used is from a fun CTMH paper pack called Sparkle and Shine.  I used the front and the back side of the paper on this card.

Hoping the video uploaded okay, I can't tell until I hit publish.  I had to have good old Frank Sanatra singing "The Coffee Song" in the background!  Right?  LOL

 I've been invited to join in on the current challenge over at Secrets to Stamping.  They love playing with Fun Folds, as do I.    With the invite to join came a prize package.  I received some fun paper, envelopes, brushed brass butterflies, and gold foil snowflakes, all from Stamp'in Up!  For this card, I used all but the snowflakes.  I also used a SU stamp set called Helping Me Grow.  Not only did I make this card an easel card, I also made it a shaker card.  I love me some awesome shaker cards!  I used some shaker materials from Glitter Lambs, some of which came from the Honey Bee Farm set.  I think in future, I will just get the honey bees since the beads that come in the jar set are too big for the shaker cards I make.  Here is the card I made.

Simply Blessed

 This is the new Nativity set from Jan's Digi Shop!  Simply Gorgeous!!  This set includes both the colored and uncolored images.

I decided to get a bit crafty with it by selecting negative in my print program (Microsoft Digital Image Suite), it made the entire background black and the image itself white.  I've also learned that I can upload the image to my Cricut and have my Cricut draw it in whatever color pen I have onto whatever color paper I want it on.  Super great images for that too!!  I did keep my card very CAS.  I used the one sentiment and the image and kept the whole thing black and white.  I did use an embossing folder on the black cardstock.
