I love Unicorns

Last week was Bugaboo's 7th birthday celebration.  I won third place which means I won $12 in stamps.  Two of the images I chose were these brand new unicorns (half price until tomorrow).  For one I used the January bingo challenge from Bugaboo (Something blue, Player's Choice [a Bugaboo image], Ribbon).

Beauty is a light in the heart

I won some images from Fabrika Fantasy Digis last week and wanted to create something using them.  I love that you get the colored images and the ones you can color yourself.  The three images I chose were Fairy-tale Unicorn, Water Fairy and Fire Fairy.  The other fairy used was from when they sponsored a challenge for one of the teams I'm on.  That was is Earth Fairy.  All of the images used were pre-colored images.  I used a fun frame die, ribbon and a horse charm.  The Digi paper they were on printed on is from Bearly Mine Designs (I think...If I'm wrong, please correct me).

Bugaboo Under The Sea Day 7 Challenge

Today's Under the Sea challenge theme is a recipe:

 

For this challenge I used some older paper from Close To My Heart and some red cardstock.  I kept with the red, white and blue mostly red colors.  For the two bows I used blue and I added four large pearls.  I'm not sure if this is considered more than 3 layers or not...?  If you count per piece of paper (including the image) it is more like 8 layers.  LOL  I didn't think about that until after it was all assembled.  The image used is Sassy Gal Beach.  She was colored using colored Pencils.  I also added a die cut sentiment.

Bugaboo Under The Sea Day 6 Challenge

For my kiddo card I decided to keep it extremely CAS by making it so the kiddo can not only do the crossword puzzle, but they can color the image too.  The image used was Word Search-Brat Birthday Girl.  All I did was add a small bow and a few small pink pearls.

Bugaboo Under The Sea Day 5 Challenge

Today is day 5 of the Under The Sea birthday challenge at Bugaboo.  Today's challenge is:

 

I chose to use this fun image called  Gus Birthday - Rocking Chair.  I made this late last night in my freezing cold garage (that is where my craft area is).  By the time I was done with this very simple card my fingers were numb.  LOL  We are supposed to get up to 10 more inches of snow today too...Ugh!  I've been enjoying the summery cards that I've been making, this is the one exception so far.   I still have two more card to make this week for the Under the Sea challenge.

I colored this image using pencil, then used Glossy Accents over his glasses and some Crystal Stickles on the balloon.  I added a hemp bow to the top to add that 'something extra'.
