Ice Fishing

This card was made using this week's Friday Freebie at Bugaboo.

I have a feeling there will be a lot of different freebies soon since for some reason the Bugaboo site is having some difficulties...  Please be patient, and keep checking back!

This image is AKV Winter Ice Fishing.  For this card I used a lot of fun layers, a button, pearls, ribbon and hemp twine.  I also added a fish bead and used an edge punch.

Don't Touch My Coffee

This card was made for this week's Humor Me Wednesday over at Catch The Bug.

For this card I used the hilarious Grumpy Gertrude Touch My Coffee.  For some reason, this chick reminds me of my Grandma, except, she didn't drink coffee, she drank Postum or whatever it was called.  LOL  And she was super happy all of the time.

I made this card in honor of Espresso Day which was November 23rd.  I used flowers, hemp twine, ribbon, gems and a paper doily.

A cup of coffee and a good book

Another co-worker's birthday is coming up.  This is a co-worker I've worked with for a long time now, we both moved to the department we are in now at the same time.  I said to her today "I've worked with you for so long, but you're so quiet, I don't know that much about you.  What do you want on your birthday card?  What sort of things do you like?  What's your favorite color?"  LOL  So, I learned she she likes to read and she loves coffee.  I also learned her favorite color is blue.  So, I made her this card.  I used blue accents of all shades with flowers, lace, ribbon, gems and pearls.

Tags and/or Pockets

The challenge this fortnight over at Incy Wincy Designs is Tags and/or Pockets.  We have two sponsors for this challenge, they are Hetty Clare Art and Sheepski Designs.  I played with images from both sponsors, I made a pocket card using an image from Hetty Clare (Daisy Dreams) and a tag using an image from Sheepski (Lily Jug).  The tag was cut using my Cricut using a Cricut pattern.

Dance With Fairies

I am going to another birthday party today.  Thought I would throw a few cards together, this is one of the three that will be given to her as a part of her birthday gift.  This image is from Faery Ink.  The image is a freebie and can be found HERE.

I went a bit crazy on the embellishments with this one.  I used flowers, leaves, lace, a leaf die, a fence die, twine, a doily, pearls and butterfly dies.  I used loads of pop dots on this one too...

Like A Princess

I am going to another birthday party today.  Thought I would throw a few cards together, this is one of the three that will be given to her as a part of her birthday gift.  This image is from Faery Ink.  I think this might be retired, I can't find it in the store.  For this card I used one of the sketches from Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #194, it looks like this:

I kept this fairly simple by just adding paper and gems.

I am going to another birthday party today.  Thought I would throw a few cards together, this is one of the three that will be given to her as a part of her birthday gift.  This image is from Faery Ink.  This is Christmas Fun Fae Fairy.  I followed one of the two sketches (#195) from the current challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday which looks like this:

I used a sentiment from Create With TLC, some gems, a bow, and some flowers,.  I added some Glossy Accents onto the eyes and Christmas balls and used a CTMH glitter pen over her wings.  I used some round and some oval dies for the image and the sentiment.

Steampunk

Made another steampunk card this morning after waking up way too early for a weekend.  LOL  I used a lot of cog dies, a clock die, metal cogs, a sticker, some flowers, chain, and the tags and cards were cut out from a paper stack.  The image is from Kenny K.  I'm adding two pictures of this one because I can't seem to get a good picture where one side isn't blurry or there was too much glow off the gloss of the cards.
