Magical Christmas

I know, I know, tomorrow is Halloween and here I am making a Christmas card...but, I received a new die in the mail yesterday and finally got the chance to play with it!!  I created a sentiment (I will share it with you) just for this one!  I used some scrap Papers I found in a huge pile in my garage, some green ribbon and a fun little glitter bottle I've had laying a round for a while.

This fortnight over at IncyWincyDesigns challenge blog the challenge is "inspired by your fav candy(sweets)".  We are being sponsored by Polka Doodles and Magda Palakow Studios.  For some reason (my lack of attention probably) I used an image from someone else...the folder for their images was located just below the folder for Polka Doodles...so I messed up!  :(  But...Here is what I made for the challenge, using a  PPinky Dolls image, some gingham paper, some glitter paper a glittery bow and some black gems.  The candy I based this off of was "Bit-O-Honey" one of my favorites!

This month's Progressive Freebie

This month's Progressive Freebie image over at the Cute As A Button Facebook page the image is this adorable Cowardly Lion.

For this card I added some fun papers I found on Craig's List, a few butterflies, some gems & string pearls, an orange bow and a paper flower.the word Roar was cut using my Silhouette machine as was the image.  The image was colored with ink, chalk and gel pens.  I hand colored the word Roar using gel pens.

Mother Nature Naughty

For this card I created another sentiment...I just couldn't seem to find one that was just right...So, again, I am sharing it with you here tonight!  Yes, I know it is only just fall here in the USA...but I love spring and summer!!  Here is the sentiment I made:

I figured/hoped if Old Man Winter was busy it would be a more mild season??  LOL

The image I used on my card was Mother Nature from Cute As A Button.  I wanted to play with a pre-colored image so that I could show people just how much faster and easier they can make a card.  I'm a huge fan of well colored pre-colored images!  I am not a huge fan of coloring!  I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 to make this.
