 For this fun fold card I used the new Hot Air Balloon Stamp & Die Bundle Stamp'in Up.  The papers are from a retired set from CTMH.  I made the Book Cradle Fun Fold - you can find out how using this video

 This card was created using a technique I've never used before.  This is the Faux Cloisonne Technique.  Basically, it's super simple, as simple as wet embossing can be. You take a glossy type magazine page or something like it, stamp and emboss then cut it out. For my card I used two different CTMH sets, I used the Prickly Pear - Scrapbooking Stamp & Die set and the Howdy Neighbor stamp & die set. The DP is also CTMH. I came across the "China Before Communism 2024 Shen Yun" flower announcing the upcoming performance. The colors are so pretty in it, I figured it would be perfect. The cactus was part of a picture of a tree and water scene. The flower was part of a big dance scene of several ladies in pretty pink dresses.

Just Because

 This card was made using scraps, dies and punches.  The flowers were done using an older Sizzix die set, the leaves aren't marked anyplace to know where they're from.  I used a Stamp'in Up punch to create the hanging banners.  I believe the papers are also from SU.  The sentiment is from a super old (older than 2013) Spellbinders stamp set called Vintage Labels Two.

A few cards I've made

 I was a busy gal this weekend.  I made a few cards...LOL

This first card was made using the sketch from Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.  I kept this monochromatic in purples.  I used the CTMH Skylark Stencil with CTMH Royal Ink.  The sentiment and little mouse are from the Jan 2022 SOM Sweet Little Things stamp set.

This next card was made using the You're The CTMH G.O.A.T Stamp set, some glitter paper, some loose sequins and some gems.  I framed the image and sentiment with some foil paper.

The Male Room (must be for a male)  - 

This shaker card was fun to make.  I used the same Skylark Stencil and Royal ink.  The the "outside" I brushed some CTMH colors - Bluebird, Pixie, Lemonade and Royal for the sky, then stamped the trees from the Botanical Shadows stamp set over the sky "scene".  The skunk, dragonfly and sentiment are from the Little Stinkers stamp set.  I used some loose sequins inside the shaker portion.

This last card was made using a new to me technique with saran wrap.  I followed this video.  I used CTMH ink colors Lemonade, Pixie and Bluebird.  I added some gold twine around the strip with the sentiment.  The sentiment and unicorn are from the CTMH stamp set called Unicorn Dreams.

Journal Folios

 The challenge this month over at Free Printables for your Junk Journaling With TLC is this fun folio.  I ended up doing two of them.  I changed the hue of the original to make it more purple for the second one.  I used my cricut to make the first one, the second was cut by hand or paper cutter.  I made some changes to the first one from the original, the second one I kept fairly whole as it should be, but made it so there were a lot more places to journal.

Here is the second one with the change of hue and hand cut.

What do you think about the differences?  I can certainly see a bride or a Mother of the bride or groom using these for that special day, using the pockets to put the special little items in and notating all of the special events of the day.  Or even a special anniversary or date...

Darned that Morty Dude!

 Once again I pulled out my pen and created an image to use.  This isn't quite as offensive as the last one, so no warnings ahead of time.  Here is the image I created, like the other one, feel free to take it, just please, don't sell it, not that I think it's all that, but really!

The card I made with it is this:

I added googly eyes, black gems, and liquid pearls.  I used a stitched die around the image itself.  The sentiment on the bottom I just typed out and printed it.

Galentine's Day Card

 This card was made using a girl from the CTMH set besties-kelsie.  The sentiment that I wet embossed is from the Spellbingers November 23 Stamp + Die of the month Club set.  The blue hearts are from Stamp'in Up.  I'm not 100% sure where the stencil is from, I wish they could be embossed onto the sentencil some how.  My fingers are all blue and orange from "water coloring" my white paper (squirted water onto my all purpose mat, then dropped a few drops of blue and orange inks, then dipped the paper into it).  I stapled some orange staples over the ribbon and the lace.  My final touch was the three different colored sequins.

 Over at Free Printables for your Junk Journaling with TLC there is a freebie upload for the February challenge.  Everything used to make this was from that set.  I'm still not 100% sure what these are for, my thoughts are, I can see a bride journaling her big day with one of these, or something like that maybe?  Here is what I made:

More Valentine Makes

This card was made using the mailbox from the Home for Christmas Digi Art Collection and the bee from Backyard Bliss Digi Collection. what is fun about these digital sets is you can upload them to your Cricut, then change the colors of each piece, then turn it into a print and cut.  The sentiment is from the Howdy Neighbor stamps and die set.  I used a sheet of DP and one of the strips from on top of the DP you get from CTMH.  I added a few red hearts and drew the path of the bee.

AAA Birthday Challenges (starts 1st Monday) – 

Dear Cupid...

 This card was made for this month's challenge over at Incy Wincy Designs.  I consider this an anti-Valentine card since I do not have a sweetie of my own to give a card to - just my adult kids and some co-workers.  This came from CraftsUPrint, it is called Art Deco Lady #6.  It was a freebie last month (they give one freebie a week).  I kept it very simple, believe it or not, it is totally flat.  I added some sparkle to her hat and dress and some Glossy Accents to the dots and added the sentiment.

This is a bit more of a "serious" lovie dovie Valentine card.  This image/card is also from CraftsUPrint, it's called Love and Cherish, it is a card front and back.  I added the pearls and the sentiment, glued the tops of the card together and it was done.  Again, except for the pearls, this is totally flat.
