 This card was made for this fortnight's Double Trouble Paper Crafting Challenge.  I'm so greatful to get to be a part of Double Trouble this month!!  I had a blast!!  :)

THING 1: Trouble Maker

says, "It's time again to grab your bone folder and other crafty stuff and create something new. We think this is easier than folding a fitted sheet! It's time to use the stuff you have in your stash (new and/or old).

THING 3:  Twisted Sister

A co-worker reached out and asked if I could make a Barbie birthday card for her Grandchild's 3rd birthday.  I said "Sure!"  Here is what I made...teaming up with Cupcake Inspirations (previous sponsor)

For my card I used a Barbie image, banner, flowers, ribbon, I created the frame using glitter paper, used my Cricut to create the musical note edge trim and the #3.

Love Hands

 This card was made for this week's challenge over at Creatalicious Challenges - the Theme is Love.  

For my creation I used My Cricut machine.  The whole things (except the gems) was cut using the Cricut.  I selected "Projects", then "cards" and found Love Hands Valentine's Day Card (#M43356).  I also cut a couple heart shapes.  I found the fancy gems I ran across the top at the Dollar tree.

You're Beautiful

 This card was inspired by something I came across at a thrift store, it was a small Recollections sticker pack with nail polish things...Then I saw a shaker card on Pintrest and off I went.  I used my Cricut to cut the Nail Polish Bottle layers, flowers, banner and wrote the sentiment.  I added the gems, sequins and ribbons.  The sequins inside the bottle are from CTMH, so are the sticky sequins.

Funny Golf Card

 

This card was made for another of my co-workers...she is actually younger than me, but this image sort of cracked me up.  When I asked her what she liked for her birthday this is what she said "My favorite color is blue. I love to play golf. I love being outdoors in general like camping, dirt-biking, etc. I have a miniature dachshund, he is my pride and joy..."  I used the dachshund image from Pattie's Creations.  The golfer is from Art Impressions.  The golf green is from Cricut.  I created the sentiment.  I added a bow and a few flowers and called it good enough.

  Here is my second guest designer entry for Double Trouble.  Using all of the challenges listed below, I created this fun card.  I used my Cricut to cut the banners, fussy cut the Bugaboo image, and to write the sentiment.  I turned the sketch onto it's side and stretched it out.

"Mix 'Em Up w/Three Patterned Papers"  

Thing 1: Trouble Maker

says, "It's Winter and I'm just chillin' so I don't want to make things complicated. That's why I'm asking you to use three patterned papers - just "Mix 'Em Up"!  It's that simple... That's all you need. 

IF you want to be a little ambitious and boost your creativity our partner has this sketch that is perfect for using patterned papers. You may also feel free to change orientation of the sketch... rotate the sketch or use its mirror image." IF you use this sketch you will receive another chance at our random draw. 

In Summary:

1. Thing 1 Requirement: MUST Use three patterned papers in your project.
2. Optional: It's your choice to use the sketch above.  

Thing 3: Twisted Sister

says, "January 20th is World Penguin Awareness Day! I'm also chillin', but not with Trouble Maker. I'm chillin' with the penguins. So for my optional twist, let's waddle with a clumsy swaying motion and include a penguin in our projects."  

Thing 2: Double Trouble
says, "If you have included three patterned papers and used Try Stampin' on Tuesday's sketch,  you may enter HERE.  And if you have used Twisted Sister's optional twist "include a penguin" you have also met their optional theme "Winter Wonder".

Times Fun Stacking Frogs

Here is an image I saw and simply HAD TO HAVE.  This is from the shop of Rachelle Anne Miller, it's called Stacked Frogs.  After adding the image onto some fun Digi paper, I added some extra flies (cropped from the image itself), the sentiment and a button w/a string bow.  I'm not sure how well you can see it, but I used some Glossy Accents over their eyes and some Crackle Accents over the stones they are standing on.  I used some I added Stickles 'Waterfall' over the fly wings.  Overall, I'm thrilled with how this turned out!

Triple Point Thanks

 This card was made for the Butterfly Challenge.  They "spin the wheel", what letter it lands on determines the challenge.  In this case it landed on T which means Triple Point Card, Tan, Tickle Me Pink, tea Green, Thistle, Thank You.  I tried to meet all of the challenges.  I didn't do just one or two colors, I tried to make sure I had all of the clors, however, I think I missed tan.  LOL  The Triple Point Card is actually quite easy to make, they have instructions HERE.  For my card I used a Park Lane paper pack called Backyard Garden and a Punch Out Pad from K&Compnay called Abrianna.

Owl Fun Fold

Happy Monday!  Hoping the new year has brought you happiness so far!  Today I wanted to show you something I made with last month's CTMH's Stamp Of The Month - Owl Love You Forever (it was delivered yesterday).  I did a fun fold called a Tower Fun Fold.  This folds into a 5.5" x 4.25" card/envelope.  I thought I'd share the measurements so you could try one too, it's really not hard at all!!  :)  First, let me show you what the card looks like:

Card Base – 5.5 x 8.25 score at 1”, 2”, 3”, 5.25, 6.25, 7.25”

Cut from 1-3” and 5.25-7.25” lines at 1” and 2” then turn the card and do the same to the other side.

Using the bone folder, fold the two outside score lines on both sides (not the inside score line).  Fold the sides to be ‘mountain/valley’ fold with the center being mountain.  Go back over the folds using your bone folder.  Should end up looking like two capital letter E’s back to back.  Add your **layers and decorate.

**LAYERS:

Cut at 2-1/4” x 5-1/2” (back of card) bottom layer 2-1/8 x 5-3/8 top layer

Cut at 1-1/4 x 4 (center)

Cut 2 at ¾ x 4 (top & bottom)

Cut 2 at ¾ x 5-1/4 (sides)

3 squares 2-5/8” 2 in 1 color and another in a different color

I Love Moo

 I made this card for this month's challenge at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge.  The image is called You Moove Me.  I used my Cricut to cut the bee, the fun background square and the lines on the bottom of my card.  I added some flowers and made a black bow.  I think it might be time to put a new blade into my Cricut.
