This card was made for this fortnight's 'Lots of Layers' challenge over at Creatalicious Challenges. I added one of my stick pins, a button, flowers, used a die for the swirly doily in the background. Part of the sentiment is from Create With TLC. I also added some gems and pearls. The image itself is California Rolls from Mayzy Art Stamps, where you can find lots of fun FREE digi stamps.
This card was made for one of my co-workers. When asking for ideas on what she wanted to see on her birthday card this year, this was her reply "I love cacti, I can eat pasta for every meal, I also love pickles, Oh and sushi! Tulips are my favorite flower especially the yellow ones. I’m sarcastic, so punny/funny would be great, My favorite color tends to change, but lately I’ve really been liking soft yellow. Not those really bright and aggressive yellows where it burns your eyes to look at. More like pastel. I have always liked the color green too (more specifically the shades that you see on the army camouflage outfit). I like winter sports like snowboarding and skiing. In the summer I love to be on the lake boating and listening to music. I also just really love being lazy. The days I get to roam around my house in an oversized shirt and no pants are my favorite days." The card had to be sushi since she mentioned foods more than once and I LOVE sushi, so it wasn't too much of a challenge. HAHA Her birthday was in May, so she got this last month. :)
Thanks for looking!!
