This shaker card was made using CTMH Papers, sequins and stamp set. I grabbed some of the top parts of the CTMH papers that I have trimmed off (my snippets) and saved for the top of the card. Inside the card I created the fun shaker ball layout. The gold around the outside was drawn using a gold paint pen.
Thanks for looking!

Hi Karen
Great tropical and festive shaker card.
Thanks for coming to play in the SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND. Meet me in the Treehouse later and I'll make you a festive cocktail! x
You almost caught me there Karen - at first I thought this wasn't a Christmas card - then I spotted the holly in that lovely patterned paper. It truly is a 'Christmas in July' card! Love that it's a shaker as well.

Karen, it's not only "Christmas in July" but "Christmas in the Tropics", too! I love all the wonderful elements of your card.. the palette, the tropical holiday patterns, and the luscious sequins in the shaker snow globe!! Thank you so much for sharing your card and creativity with us at Double Trouble for our "Christmas in July" challenge!!! -Donna

Nice holiday card, Karen! I had a little trouble finding the element for "Christmas in July" and I then spotted the holly in your pretty background paper. Very clever! Thank you for playing along with us at Double Trouble Challenge #142. -- Melanie R.
Karen, I like how you made your shaker having a clean window to the inside...I'll have to remember this next time I do a shaker. Love how you pulled in your stripes, stars, holly and present to meet the requirements for us at Double Trouble and Jingle Belles. Fun card.

What a fabulous shaker card! I love that the image is on the inside of the card. I am completely impressed with the gold that's around the shaker ball! I thought it was a piece of gold foil paper, but then read that you handpainted that. WOW! anks for joining us at Sparkles Christmas Buddies ! I hope to see you in the gallery again soon. Sue - DT
