It's been a LONG time since I've made an actual MERMAID card!! Tonight, since I didn't have any DT responsibilities to do I decided to make one, a shaker one! :) Both images are long retired :( the frame and the sentiment were cut out using stitched dies. I used some grey cheese cloth I found during the halloween shopping season, some real sea shells, pearls and gems (white and orange ones). My final touch was the orange bow. This was super fun to do!!
Thanks for looking!

Karen: Marvelous mermaid card!!! That was a great purchase to grab the gray mesh when you saw it with Halloween supplies!!! Having the two different mermaid images and directions/poses along with the embellishments makes the card so very interesting to look at! Thanks so much for using the stitching die for Double Trouble and the mermaids for TFATU!!! We appreciate your support of our collaboration! --Becca/TFATU
What a wonderful collage of visual and textural elements! How clever to use the cheese cloth here;it truly gives the feeling of netting. Thank you so much for linking up this beautiful creation with our Little Red Wagon challenge this week! We hope to see you again, soon. - Shani
Such a neat card, all the texture and details really give a feel of an underwater scene. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble!
Oh big yes to the mermaid!
Thanks for coming submitting this lovely mermaid card as homework to the Snippets Playground. I love orange and blue together.
Once you've finished sliding down the slide, come up to the Treehouse for a mug of hot chocolate. xxx

So many fun elements to this card but the best is the grey cheesecloth - great idea for a net! Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble :)
Such beautiful details and a lovely mix of colours Karen. Clever use of the grey cheesecloth.
