Corona Virus Birthday

 This is another co-worker birthday card.  I asked her, since the last several years I've made her Football cards (she was a Seahawks [brady] fan and is a BSU fan).  So this year I asked her "what do you want on your birthday card this year, I'm too tired to be creative and I want to make you something special."  Her reply was "...purple or red & blue...Theme could be anything 2020 related or 6 grandkids theme or robots or travel...we could all use a good laugh about now too..." So I went a bit crazy with the 2020 idea.  I have this image from My Bestie, I think it was a freebie over the summer.  I went with the purples.  I took the chocolate and wine from the image and used wine glass dies and a chocolate charm.  I added a couple fun bows, lace, doily, some flowers, gems and not sure what the metal pieces are called...they're like paper clips.  I did the sentiment as a tag using a stitched tag die.

Yeah, the sentiment seems a bit dark, I'm hoping she will take it for the humor it was meant to be...I hope my coworkers do too...LOL  They all know I'm a bit off my rocker already anyway.  Just as a reminder, I work for a hospital...we are seeing a huge influx right now and are told it is only going to get worse with the holidays.  The good news is, we are expecting two different brands of vaccines to be released soon.  We had 26 people in Idaho alone die from the virus on Wednesday.  This virus/pandemic isn't a joke, however, for a lot of us, if we can't laugh about it, we will end up on a mental hold like so many others I've seen lately.  So, hope you can understand and maybe laugh with the humor as well!
