Kitty Valentines

 Twistoons is having a 50% off Valentine images sale.  Just use the code VALENTINES22 when you check out.  I took advantage.  Here are two cards I made using two of the images I purchased.

I used the same DPs on both  The first one I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday:

I added some purple gems and a red gem heart.  I used my CTMH Glimmer pen over the eyes then put on some Glossy Accents.  I cut a heart using my Cricut and placed it behind the image (instead of the oval on the sketch).  This image was actually not part of the sale, but it was one I had to have, reminded me of my Sabrina kitty  :)  This is Cat Relax.

For the second card, I did three different DPs, so, the same two as the first card, but one other.  I used my Lil Boss by Paper Adventures embosser on the pink background, wishing I'd done it for the purple piece across the middle...  I added purple gems and a purple ribbon knot.  The image used is called "I love you cat".

Valentines

 These two Valentine Cards were made for this month's challenge over at Dragonfly Dreams.  Our sponsor this month is Conie Fong.  

For this first card I used the set called Let's Celebrate.  I used some print and cuts from Cricut, added a bow and some lace.

For this second card I used the image called First Kiss.  Again, I used my Cricut to cut some images, used a small doily and some heart shaped gems, pearls and a bow.

 This card was made for the current 613 Avenue Create challenge of which I am one of their new Design Team members.  The theme is 'My Whimsical Valentine'.  Since there is no sponsor for this challenge this time I chose to use this adorable image from The Paper Shelter called Valentine Hug.  I added a few different types of ribbon/lace, gems, flowers and a doily.

 This card was so fun to make using my Cricut and the Mirtillamente image called Crazy Paw: Monkey

I cut out the jungle scene, added a jungle theme background, framed it with blag gems and added the Cricut cut sentiment.  I have a feeling this would cheer someone up just a bit if they need some encouragement!

A Birthday Nap

 This sweet card was made for this month's challenge over at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge.  The image used is called Nap Time.  I also added the flower to the front that was a freebie from one of the previous challenges (FYI: there is 1 freebie every challenge!).  I added some butterflies, pearls, flowers, lace, ribbon, gems, a doily and some cat charms I cut from a bracelet.  The sentiment was created by me.

A Birthday Peek

 This card was made for this month's Incy Wincy Designs Challenge.  The theme is Red and/or Pink (at least 50%) OR Valentines Day.  Our sponsors for this month's challenge are Alex Syberia Design and The Paper Shelter.  This card was made using an Alex Syberia Designs image called Love U Giraffe.  I used an embossing folder on the pink rectangle behind the giraffe, used some pink and brown striped DP, Pink striped gems, pink bow, pink flowers (and a brown one), a doily and a tree.  The banners were found in a sticker pack I got at the Dollar Tree.  I used some pop dots on the top of the giraffe's head to make it look like she is coming forward.

Love Rain Down

 This card was made for this month's Incy Wincy Designs Challenge.  The theme is Red and/or Pink (at least 50%) OR Valentines Day.  Our sponsors for this month's challenge are Alex Syberia Design and The Paper Shelter.  This card was made using an image from The Paper Shelter called Autumn Love.  My goal with this card was to give it more of a vintage-ish feel.  So, the only color on them is the red in the umbrella and their cheeks.  I added a bit of a 'puddle' for them to be standing in - my hopes were that it wouldn't look like a puddle of blood since I made it a 'red' puddle.  LOL  I added some raining hearts, the sentiment and a bow.  I put some Stickles over the bigger hearts.  Really, I kept this card pretty CAS.

Time's Fun with Mirtillamente

 I reached out to Mirtillamente to see if they could use a new DT member.  Lucky me, they are!  I'm currently a Guest on a trial period!  Super excited and hoping I'm a good fit with this team!  My first project for the team is made using Crazy Paw - Froggy.  I actually made this card for one of my co-worker's birthday.  When I asked her what she liked she told me she likes frogs and that her favorite colors were green and purple.  I added a bunch of flies around the image, then added flowers, stick pens and gems.  I used some Stickles on his tummy and Glossy Accents over his eyes.

Thoughts and Prayers

 This morning we learned that one of my co-worker's lost his wife this morning.  This is such a travesty and surprise for this small town.  She did not have any health issues that anyone, including her and her husband, knew of.  I made this card so anyone in our small hospital that wishes to, can sign it.  I told my guy friend tonight that it seems silly to give a card when someone dies.  Like a card will actually help?  But, I suppose if it makes him feel like he isn't alone and that we all care, that is a good thing!

For this card I used an image from Delicious Doodles.  I used some dies, a shell, twine, pearls and an angel.
