Steampunk Meow

I won a few images from My Stitch In Twine.  This one is Steampunk Cat.  I decided to make this card multi-layered.  by using pop dots.  I added some metallic papers I cut using some steampunk dies, then I also used some fun metal cogs and a metal charm.  I created the sentiment myself.

This fortnight over at Incy Wincy Design Challenges the challenge theme is "Ultraviolet", the "color of the year".  We are being sponsored by A Day For Daisies and Mari Ko Creations.  For this challenge I decided to do a fun fold card.  Iused an image from Mari Ko Creations that I colored using glitter gel pens.  The sentiments are from Create With TLC.  I added some fun dies to the front and the inside.  The ones I used on the inside were the cloud dies.  The dies I used on the outside were the unicorn, sentiment and flags.

Spring Is Coming

With spring so close, I decided to make a couple "spring" cards.  Granted the 'blessed' card is a bit fall-ish, it is still intended as a spring card.  Both images are from Magnolia Stamps.  The papers are from some misc paper pads I just happen to have laying around.  The sentiment on the daffodil card is from Create With TLC.  The sentiment on the other was part of a paper pack.

More Cards For Men

So I have sort of been on a "cards for men" kick as of late.  Mostly because when ever someone comes up to me at work and says "my boyfriend/husband has (fill in the blank) coming up, I need a card for him" I never have anything for men to show them...LOL  So, With two images I just won from QKR Stamps and with a punch and a die I recently got, I made more this weekend.

For these two I used my new punch I got Saturday at Hobby Lobby for only $5, regularly way more than that.  The die on the one I got off of Wish.com, it is the perfect size for this!  Ialso used a fun shaped die and sentiment dies.  I added a bow to both.

This next one was made using an adorable image from QKR called Fawn.  For this one I used the same scenic die as above, circle dies and some fun DPs.  I added a hemp twine bow.

This last one was made using another image from QKR called  Eagle.  I added some of the same DP as the first cards, I used an embossing folder on the burgundy cardstock, and I accented it all with black.  I used a white base.

Under The Sea

I think I might have gone a bit overboard (no pun intended) on this card.  I added some glitter tulle, burlap, ribbon, string, flowers, pearls, two stick pins, a gold starfish and a bottle of "gold".  The image is from Polka Doodles.

Peeps Easter Card

Tonight I was looking at Pintrest and saw one of the votive candle holder card and it made me think of these adorable little chicks I got at Hobby Lobby last night.  Instead of using the votives I cut a TP roll to fit, painted them green on the inside and glued the little chicks in.  I didn't do much else for decorating other than adding a bow and a vintage Easter image.

Get Well Soon

I received a text Saturday letting me know one of my co-workers broke her leg and won't be in for an indeterminate time frame.  She is one of my favorite people, so I had to make her a special "get well" card.  I used the sketch from 'Stella Says Sketch', and used an image from Bugaboo called Break A Leg.  I used some papers from Stitchy Bear...they aren't around anymore.  I added some black gems, a flower and a fire truck (it was a button, but I cut off the back).
