Funny Parent Card

I'm making up for lost time.  It has been a long time since I've made anything, so, as you might be able to tell, I've been making and posting a few cards.
This one is a Bugaboo funny...This one is called Stella Calendar Months - May.  I used both Bugaboo challenge to make this card "Raining Cats & Dogs" and Stella's sketch challenge.  I kept it true to sketch for the most part, I also kept it very CAS; normally I think more 'outside the box' with sketchs, but I liked this one.  LOL  All I did was add some gems and use an embossing folder.

Birthday Pirate and Dog

Here is another fun image from Whoopsi Daisy and a sentiment from Create With TLC (I added and from the rest of us).  I used some of my new papers I brought home today, an embossing folder, a pirate button and some pop dots.  I added quite a few layers, but I do like how it turned out.

A Beautiful Spring Day

It has been a while since I've pulled out my Whoopsi Daisy stamps.  This one is a pre-colored image that is not in the store, it may be on one of the CDs, but I'm not sure.  I followed the sketch from this week's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge using some fun papers I just purchased...like I needed more papers...NOT!  LOL  I added some butterflies cut out using the Stampin Up Beautiful Wings Embosslit.  The circles were cut using some cookie cutter dies.  I also added some flowers and some gems.

The sponsors for this fortnight's challenge over at Incy Wincy Designs are Wink Wink Ink and Dr Digi's House of Stamps.  I got to play with a pre-colored Dr. Digi image called Blunder Woman.  Isn't she hilarious?  The challenge theme is a "Recipe" 1 image, 2 different papers and 3 embellishments.  So, After finishing my project I wasn't sure if I used 2 or three different papers...did the base count?  Hmmf!  I wanted to stick with the red, whiter and blue.  Dang it!  My three embellishments were the three gems.

Looking Pretty

Hello everyone!  I'm back!!  It has been almost a month since I have been able to make anything.  :(  I have been in the process of making A LOT of life changes.  I'm now living in a new place with a new sweetheart and I have a new job (that included a nice pay raise!).  Between the two, my life has been turned upside down.  It feels so good to have a craft room again and to be able to start crafting my stresses away!  This may not be the first card I made in the last two days, but it will be the first of four I'm posting.

This image is the new progressive challenge image that started today for Cute As A Button's Facebook Progressive Challenge.  If you aren't a member yet...why not?  :)

For this card I used ink, gel pen and chalk.  I used three different DPs, some flowers, gems and a few flourish and leaf dies.
