Magical Mermaid

 A friend came to me and asked if I could make a card for her to give to her friend.  She said her friend was into skulls, her favorite color is blue and since her birthday was in October asked if I could also add some orange and black.  I found this older image I had that is from Delicious Doodles (I miss this company too), the image is called Black Pearl.  I added some skull buttons, a skull stick pin I made, a bunch of cute fish I recently got from a company called Glitter Lambs.  I also added a few sequin fish and sea horses.  The orange netting was cut using a die cut, the sea plants were cut using my Cricut, the circles were cut using some circle dies.  I added a touch of mesh under the skull and flowers.  I may have gone a bit overboard (pun intended), but I do like how it turned out.  It is just super busy!!  Almost too much to look at.  HAHA

 This card was made for this fortnights' "For a Friend" challenge at Creatalicious.  For this card I used an owl image from the Woodland Friends set by Varada Sharma.  I used my cricut to cut out the leaves, to fussy cut the image and to cut the circles.  I added gems, googly eyes and a sentiment from Create With TLC.

Mr & Mrs Wedding Card

Not sure why, but for some reason I was in the mood to make a monchromatic (white) wedding shaker card.  I just got the heart dies in the mail yesterday from CTMH, the ones that go with the heart shaker foams.  I used my Cricut to cut the scalloped square and the Mr & Mrs (I used the shimmer pen on the sentiment).  I made the angel stick pin.  I used my die to cut the butterflies (they blend in almost too well that they seem to get lost).  I added flowers, leaves, gems and string pearls.  I used an embossing folder on the inside square shape.  I really like how it turned out!

Pumpkin Kisses

 This fun card is another of the new images released this month over at Jan's Digi Stamps.  Don't you just love it??  Here is what you get in the set:

I used the uncolored image from the set and went with the burgundy colors.  The DPs are from a new CTMH paper pack called Four Seasons - Autumn Paper Packet.  I used the pre-colored pumpkin from the stamp set, on the lower left corner, "stitched", using a pen, around the layers, added some gems and used a fun doily.

 This set is new over at Jan's Digi Shop.  This is called Autumn Leaves.  Pretty huh?  This includes the uncolored images as well.

For this card I used the newer Fall paper from CTMH, some buttons and twine and some cute ribbon from Stamp'in Up.  I rubbed the ink below the image using an eyeshadow brush.

Fall Double Slider Fun Fold

 

This was my first attempt (and only so far) at making  a double slider card.  I used the CTMH set called Enjoy These Moments, it is the Stamp Of The Month this month.  I found the instructions on how to made this card on Youtube HERE.  The video will give you all of the measurements.  This was surprisingly easy.  Here are my pictures:

 A co-worker was looking for a card for her guy friend who is into hunting.  I don't make many guy cards.  So, I had to go see what I had in my stash as far as hunting images was concerned.  I found this/these old Bugaboo image(s) and combined them.  It made me think of a country song called "Pretty Bad At Huntin' Deer".  Hillarious!

I Love Cowboys & Yorkies

 So, it's time for another Co-Worker birthday card...  This one was a bit tough for me for some reason, like when I said, what would you like on your birthday card this year I was told Cowboys and Yorkies.  LOL  Okay, how do I combine a football team and a breed of dog?  So, I went shopping and found this gem of an image.  I had to play with it quite a bit to make it so that I could use my Cricut to fussy cut it since it was PNG through and through, as in, the entire dog would've been cut out into pieces, then when I colored it, still parts didn't color right, so small holes all over the place were being cut.  It was obviously made to be an iron on in one color.  I had to figure out how to configure it into a digi stamp instead.  I mostly figured it out and this was the result, it's the heart with the yorkie.  So I was able to make it say I love Cowboys & Yorkies.  I also used the Cricut to create and cut the sentiment.  I made the football stick pin, added flowers, silver "gems" and sequins.  I also turned it into a shaker card, just to create more of a challenge for myself.  LOL  I added stars (blue and silver), glitter (black) and some clear/translucent glittery goodness inside along with a few footballs.  My finishing touch was the blue bow on the dogs head.

 I've been sorting through some of my stamps and came across this fun little set from The Greeting Farm.  Decided to make a couple of cards with them.  I used some papers from CTMH.  On the boy card I added some orange CTMH dots and some buttons.  On the boy card I added gems and flowers.  As you can see, I used the same layout on both.

 This card was made for this month's challenge over at Once Upon a Time Challenge Blog.  The challenges every month are based on a book/book cover.  This month's is Charlotte's Web.

For my card I used an image from Cute as a Button called Miss Muffett and added a big and web download from online.  I used a happy Birthday Die and frame I got from Tutti Designs who is currently having a 50% off sale - this set is only $7.50 right now.  I added a bow and a flower then using a pink shimmer pen (from CTMH) I did the pink dots all over the paper.  I used a pink stamp pad and rubbed the edges of the base.

 This was created for the current ATG challenge over at Pattie's Creations.  I used the image called Moon Fairy.  I added some stars punched using my Creative Memories punches, added three flowers and a bow.  The image was digitally colored using Paint 3D.

Birthday Spinner Card

 I found these fun spinners over at the Youth Ranch a few weeks ago and had all sorts of ideas for them.  I knew I needed to make a birthday card with at least one of them.  For this one, I pulled out some CTMH papers, CTMH Cake Day Stamp and die Set, a sticker from Tutti Frutti (used a candle die from the stamp set, then used a yellow shimmer pen on the flame), a bunch of sequins both balloon shaped and round.  This is a very big card (6" x 8").  I used round stitched dies for the frame around the spinner.

This card was made using the snail and butterflies from QKR.  The butterfly is actually from the Bunny and Butterfly stamp, the Snail is called Happy Snail.  I turned this into a Tall Skinny card.  I added some flower sequins.  This has loads of sparkle from the CTMH shimmer pens I used on the snail, butterflies and sentiment.  The sentiment was drawn on by my Cricut, I filled it in.

Candy Wrapper

 I'm planning to give these to my my co-workers for Halloween.  This is the first of several.  For this one I used an image from The Paper Shelter called Halloween Rules.  The small bats are some cute sequins found at Micheals Craft Store.  I cut the small pumpkin and letters using my Cricut (it's one of theirs).  I added three different ribbons on the left side.  This is a candy wrapper, but it is also an Easel Card.

If Wishes Were Fishes

 I've been wanting to use these adorable fish shaker filler yummy goodness since I got them.  I found these over in the Simon Says Stamp store.  These are called Picket Fence Studios FISHY WISHES Sequin Mix Plus.  So cute huh?  The Mermaid and paper are from Go Digital Scrapbooking.  I used the Mermaid Friends set.  The sentiment "If wishes were fishes I'd send you the whole ocean" is from Create With TLC.
