Happy Happy Joy Joy

I only just realized I forgot to post this for the current Incy Wincy Designs challenge - Happiness!  Ugh!  The holidays, and all that goes with it (weddings, Mrs. Claus gigs, depression, shopping, a surgery, etc...) just totally slipped my mind.  Luckily most of the posts are usually pre-scheduled for my DTs.  Sorry for letting you down teamies!

The challenge is being sponsored by one of our own, Nikki from Limited Runs Stamps is giving the winner 3 images of their choice.  I picked an image called  Zetti 3 to play with.  Over the summer I found this strange little doll type thing that has wings and a crown.  I figured it would be great for a card.  This one has a little bit of everything on it, wood bird, a small jar of hearts, a few kinks of an old necklace, flowers, ribbon, gems, a butterfly...so much in such a small place!  haha  It is a card that might take a few minutes to look at before you see it all...then look again and find something you missed! ;)

Learned From Santa

Todays challenge over at Catch The Bug is to create a funny critter card using the photo as inspiration.  For my card I used Candy Cane Charlie.  I stuck with the red and white for the most part.  I added a sentiment from Create With TLC.  I added a checkered bow and called it good.

Christmas Lights

Today's challenge is Tic Tac Toe, pick 3 in a row.  I did a 'black out'...do I get bonus points for that?  LOL  I used the new release called Christmas Mouse Light.  Isn't she adorable?  I added some glitter to the light and a gem to her bow.  As for the card, I used a light die, flower die (made my own flowers), tree die w/a gem topper and then added a bow.  I am fairly certain you can see the rest from the tic tac toe card.  Head on over to Catch The Bug and show us what you can do!

The challenge today at Catch The Bug is to create Anything but a card using a holiday critter and glitter.  Once again I've made a cash/gift card holder.  I used Cat Topper Christmas, added some glossy accents to the eyes and some glitter stickles to the hats.  I added some gems and called it good!

Who doesn't appreciate a Crabby Cat Christmas?  LOL  I decided to use him for this sketch challenge.  This only a few layers deep, most were just laid out digitally then print.  The red and brown cardstock are the other two layers.  I added a bow and called it good.  These are great when you know you are going to be mailing a card out and do not want to deal with the weight or thickness of so many layers, but still want it to appear as such.  I added a bow which will be the most of the layers.  Now it is your turn to head on over to the Catch The Bug Holiday Chaos challenge and show us what you can do with this fun sketch!

It's all about the love...and money

Today is the day!!  The very first official day of the Holiday Critter Chaos of 2019 over at Catch The Bug.  Today's challenge is "Create a project using a Holiday Critter AND Snow.  So, I chose to make a gift cart/cash holder using Autumn Critter Stack 01.  I used some fun paper, a snowflake edge punch, one of the punch outs from the edge punch and some pearls.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC...I added the "and money" myself.

Here is this week's Friday Freebie for Bugaboo!  Love this little bear!  This is also the beginning of our 2019 Holiday Chaos Celebration at Catch The Bug!!  This will officially run from December 14 - December 20 with a new challenge every day with so many chances to win!!  Oh, I can't wait for you to see all of the wonderful things that have been made by the DT for these challenges!!

Here is my Friday Freebie make.  I stayed with just red and white (except for the bear of course).  I played with some layering of squares, added a lot of gems, some flowers and a bow.  The lower (not the base) layer has some fun texture made with an embossing folder.

The challenge this fortnight over at Incy Wincy Designs is Christmas without Red or Green.  I almost made it that way...somehow I forgot about it while doing the holly on her and the kitty's hats and on the bird.  Oops!  I was going to skip posting this all together because of it, but decided that it wouldn't be fair to our sponsor Polkadoodles.  The image used is Snowy Footprints.  I added some snowflakes, used a fun corner punch, Glossy Accents on the berries and Stickles on the fur of the hats.

We Survived

There is a lot of new images over at Bugaboo Stamps.  This is one of them.  This is Snow Friends.  It should be in the shop very soon if it isn't already (it isn't as I'm posting this).

I made this using my own sentiment in the box provided.  I stuck with black and red with some white for contrast.  I used two dies, a snowflake edge die and a single snowflake die.  I used pearl Nuvo Crystal Drops and some Crystal Stickles.  I added some gems to top it all off.
