Candle Holder Card Tutorial

I had a request to do a picture tutorial of a 3 Tealight Candle Holder Card.  So, I made another just to show how it is done....I used another Rick St Dennis image, this one is called Witchy Birthday Digi Stamp.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.

Here it goes:

Step 1: Start with a piece of 4-3/4" x 12" cardstock

Step 2:  Score at 1/4", 2-5/8", 3-3/8" and 8-1/2"

Step 3:  Cut window hole by measuring the second line at the 1/2" mark and cutting from the half in mark to the 4-1/4" mark.  Flip the cardstock and line up the thrid scored line to the half inch mark and do the same thing.  Then turn diagonally and cut between the two lines at the half in mark.

Step 4:  Cut your clear plastic piece to place over the "window" at 4-1/4" x 1".  Use clear glue around the inside side and place your "window".

Step 5:  Fold the rest of your score lines to make the box.

Step 6:  place the three tealights in their appropriate home.  Add your glue to the small folded end and glue it down in place.  ***

Step 7:  At this point you can tie a ribbon around the box to keep the candles in place.  ***Or before you complete step 6 you can use some glue dots to keep them in place before gluing down your box.

Step 8:  Decorate your card side.  You can make this so it is angled with the box on the left, right, or bottom depending on how you wish to decorate!
