Best Friends and Tea

This week over at Incy Wincy Designs the challenge theme is sort of a toughy since it is hard to find paper bags anymore...the theme is "Upcycle a paper bag".  I just happened to have some in our pantry for school lunches.  I was inspired by a project my son made for me several years ago.  What he made was a scrapbook album, this is a card with a slide out.

We are being sponsored by the adorable Milk n Coffee.  The image I used is called Charlotte and Midnight Cammomile Tea.  I created the sentiment that I will share with you.  The DP is from Create With TLC.

For the front I used some lace, gems, scrabble tiles and a ribbon.

The inside was much less time consuming, I just added the DP and sentiment, here is the sentiment for you:

For the insert I made a little envelope and added a package of tea and a tea bag.  I also added some lace and gems.  I cut out the label from the opened tea bag to place onto the envelope.

Isn't this super fun?  It is also super easy...want to know how to make this??

Step 1:  Take a regular sized lunch bag (this was about 6 inch x 14 inch)
Step 2:  Score the bag at the six inch mark and fold it with the bag's bottom flap inside.  Then cut off the other two inches.
Step 3:  Cut FOUR square pieces of cardstock at 5 7/8 inches square.
Step 4:  Paste one of the four squares on the front, paste two of the others on the inside (one on the right side one on the left side).  The fourth is for the slide out piece.
Step 5:  Decorate like you would a normal card!

Fun huh?  :)
Thanks for looking!!
